WHAT Version 1.50 and documentation.
This program allows one to write really friendly and easy to use batch files.
You can get a single character from the keyboard, or a string. You can also
do the following, without any user intervention:
o Get sizes of files
o Get current directory
o Find out if ANSI.SYS, 80x87, etc. are installed
o Find out how many printers are installed, and ready to print
o Set or get video mode
New with Version 1.5:
o Get a character from the keyboard, but if none is ever
entered, give up and report that fact.
And many more.
The program is a packed EXE file. If this results in the message
PACKED FILE IS CORRUPT on your version of DOS or BIOS, I can make an unpacked
copy available. It is linked with /CP:1 so that it takes only as much memory
as it really needs.
